| Description: |
Business Ethics and corporate social responsibility has significant impact on the success or failure of business in China. This short session will present the basic concepts in business ethics and examine their repercussions when tackling the issue of corporate social responsibility. We will give an overview of the history of CSR, its characteristics, advantages, and pitfalls, as well as potential applications as a strategic tool. In the second part, we will go further and discuss the concept of sustainable entrepreneurship, how it differentiates itself from CSR and mainstream entrepreneurship. We will also present how the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Project at Euromed Management provides future entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to succeed in new sustainable venture creation.
