Speaker Professor Bob Aubrey (USA, France, China)
Topic Career Development for International Managers in China
Description
As China moves from the status of a developing country based on low-cost manufacturing to the world's largest economy based on "invented in China" as well as "made in China", the career opportunities for expatriate managers have changed considerably in nature. The days when a mediocre manager could come to China on a luxury expat package are gone, so are the "foreign face" jobs where it was enough to speak English with a little Chinese without any professional competencies. Today's China has great opportunities for career professionals with strong potential and unique skill sets.
Professor Aubrey's presentation will discuss career opportunities and leading-edge personal development tools in China's "war for talent".
