After living and working in China for 4 years, I realized that as an expat professional I need more business knowledge which I could apply to the local working environment. It took me a year to conduct thorough research, visit a few business schools in Shanghai and choose the most suitable one. The student body of 2009 intake is very diverse. There are students from different countries and many of my Chinese classmates are working for multinational companies, travelled or lived abroad and are global minded individuals with an international outlook. Each of us brings into the class own personal and working experience. It makes our group discussions a very useful and exciting exercise because everybody has totally different professional background and unique view to the topics. As MBA is about sharing and learning from each other, I think this is a big advantage of AEMBA programme.
